Welcome to Mini City (Plymouth). By entering or booking a session with us, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions.

  1. General Information Mini City (Plymouth) is a café and children’s role-play centre in Plymouth, UK. These terms apply to all guests attending play sessions, parties, or private hires.
  2. Supervision & Responsibility
  • All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (over 18) at all times.
  • Adults are responsible for their child’s behaviour and safety.
  • Please inform staff of any accident or injury so we can provide assistance. However, carers are responsible for administering first aid to their own child
  • Staff do not supervise children.
  • We encourage children to tidy up in the last 10 minutes of the session.
  1. Entry, Booking & Payment
  • Bookings can be made online; walk-ins are allowed if space is available.
  • Entry is subject to capacity limits and the discretion of staff.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Entry is only permitted on the specific date and time of your booked session.
  1. Refund & Cancellation Policy
  • All sessions are non-refundable. Please ensure you select the correct date and time before booking.
  • Missed sessions, late arrivals, or early departures are non-refundable.
  • If Mini City cancels, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.
  • We’re happy to transfer your tickets to another day, as long as we receive 24 hours’ notice in advance.
  1. Food & Drink Policy
  • Only food and drink purchased on-site may be consumed, except for parties, baby and medical needs.
  • We aim to cater to common allergies, but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
  • No food or drink is permitted in the play area.
  • The café closes 30 minutes before the end of the last session.
  1. Health, Safety & Hygiene
  • Please ensure children remove shoes before entering play areas and wear socks at all times.
  • No running, rough play, throwing or climbing in the café and play area.
  • Ill visitors may be refused entry for safety reasons. Please do not visit Mini City (Plymouth) with any contagious illness like chickenpox, Covid-19, diarrhoea etc.
  • Some props and toys may be unsuitable for small children (mainly under 3 years) due to small parts. Please ensure supervision of your child’s play.
  • Mini City (Plymouth) reserves the right to ask any child or adult to leave if their behaviour may pose a risk to others.
  • Our baby area is designed for children under 1 year. Children over this age are not permitted in this area.
  • Mini City (Plymouth) is an alcohol-free zone. Anyone consuming alcohol or under the influence of alcohol will be asked to leave.
  • Mini City (Plymouth) is a no-smoking area, including e-cigarettes and vapes.
  1. Parties & Private Hire
  • Party deposits are required at the time of booking and they are non-refundable if you change your mind or cancel.
  • The maximum number of children included in your package will be agreed at the time of booking.
  • We are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings during the party.
  • Damage
    • Any deliberate or negligent damage to our equipment caused by guests may result in the customer being charged for repair or replacement costs.
  • Cancellation
    • Payments are non-refundable.
    • If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible.
    • Where possible, we will try to reschedule your party to another available date, but this cannot be guaranteed.
  • Promotional Offer – £20 Off
    • This offer is valid for new bookings only made between 5 and 31 July 2026.
    • A minimum payment of £165 is required at the time of booking to secure the offer.
    • If you choose a party package with a higher value, we will contact you to arrange payment of the remaining balance.
    • The £20 discount is only valid when the required payment is made at the time of booking.
    • This offer is subject to availability.
    • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or discount.
  1. Personal Belongings
  • Mini City (Plymouth) accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
  • Please keep valuables with you at all times.
  • Prams should be left in the designated pram area.
  1. 9. Photography & CCTV
  • You are welcome to take photos of your own children, but please avoid photographing other children without consent.
  • Mini City (Plymouth) operates CCTV in the café, play area, and outside toilets downstairs for safety and security.
  • CCTV footage is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws.
  1. Liability
  • Mini City (Plymouth) accepts no liability for injuries sustained through misuse of equipment or failure to follow staff instructions.
  • All play equipment is designed for children under 7 years old. (Supervision required for small children, due to small parts).
  • Entry to the premises and participation in activities are at your own risk.
  1. Right to Refuse Entry
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any person from the premises for:
    • Unsafe or disruptive behaviour
    • Verbal or physical abuse toward staff or guests
    • Breach of these Terms and Conditions
  1. Changes to Terms
  • Mini City (Plymouth) may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website or at reception.
  1. Summer Pass
  • Early Bird offer: The Summer Pass 1 adult + 1 child introductory price of £29.95 is available until the 22nd The Summer Pass additional child introductory price of £24.95 is available until the 22nd July. After this date, the standard Summer Pass 1 adult + 1 child price will be £39.95. The Summer Pass additional child price will be £34.95.
  • The price paid at the time of purchase is final and cannot be adjusted if the promotional price changes.
  • Mini City reserves the right to amend the Summer Pass price or withdraw the introductory offer at any time before purchase.
  • Pass Validity
    • The Summer Pass is valid from 20 July 2026 – 30 August 2026
    • The pass may only be used during normal opening hours.
    • Excludes school meet-ups, private events, parties, special ticketed events, unless stated otherwise.
    • Mini City will be closed on the following days: 16, 20, 21, 24 August 2026.
    • Mini City might be closed on sunny days when bookings are low.
  • Named Child / Non-Transferable
    • Each pass is valid only for the named child/children registered at purchase. The registered email address must be used to book a session with the summer pass.
    • Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared between families.
    • Proof of purchase or ID may be requested.
  • Admission & Booking
    • Entry is subject to venue capacity and availability.
    • Advance booking is required for sessions.
    • Walk-ins are not guaranteed during busy periods.
    • Loyalty card stamps cannot be earned when using a Summer Pass.
  • Fair Usage Policy
    • The Summer Pass is intended for normal family use only.
    • Mini City reserves the right to refuse or cancel passes where misuse, excessive no-shows, or abuse of the scheme is suspected.
  • Refunds & Cancellations
    • Summer Passes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
    • Lost or unused time will not be refunded.
    • If the venue must close unexpectedly, reasonable extensions or alternatives may be offered at management discretion.
  • Changes to Terms
    • The venue reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions where necessary.
  1. Offers and Promotions

From time to time, we may offer promotional discounts or codes. These are subject to the following conditions:

  • Promotional codes are valid only for the dates specified at the time of promotion.
  • Discount codes are valid for online bookings only and cannot be applied to walk-in visits.
  • All bookings are subject to availability and must be made in advance.
  • Only one promotional code may be used per booking.
  • Promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Including loyalty card stamp.
  • Codes have no cash value and are non-transferable.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotions at any time without notice.
  • 20% off iced drinks and milkshakes promotion:
    • Offer valid from 8 July 2026 to 10 July 2026
    • Customers receive 20% off iced drinks and milkshakes with the purchase of a play session.
    • Offer is valid for iced drinks and milkshakes only and excludes all other food and beverages.
    • Offer cannot be used without the purchase of a play session.
    • Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, voucher, or promotion.
    • No cash alternative is available.
    • Subject to availability.
    • Management reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion at any time.
  • Decorate your own ice-ream
    • £1.50 per child when attending a play session.
    • £3.00 without a play session.
    • Available every Tuesday during the summer holidays, subject to availability.
    • Ice cream contains milk. Please ask about allergens for toppings before purchasing.
