Mini City (Plymouth) – Terms & Conditions of Entry

Welcome to Mini City (Plymouth). By entering or booking a session with us, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions.

  1. General Information Mini City (Plymouth) is a café and children’s role-play centre in Plymouth, UK. These terms apply to all guests attending play sessions, parties, or private hires.
  2. Supervision & Responsibility
  • All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (over 18) at all times.
  • Adults are responsible for their child’s behaviour and safety.
  • Please inform staff of any accident or injury so we can provide assistance. However, carers are responsible for administering first aid to their own child
  • Staff do not supervise children.
  • We encourage children to tidy up in the last 10 minutes of the session.
  1. Entry, Booking & Payment
  • Bookings can be made online; walk-ins are allowed if space is available.
  • Entry is subject to capacity limits and the discretion of staff.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Entry is only permitted on the specific date and time of your booked session.
  1. Refund & Cancellation Policy
  • All sessions are non-refundable. Please ensure you select the correct date and time before booking.
  • Missed sessions, late arrivals, or early departures are non-refundable.
  • If Mini City cancels, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.
  1. Food & Drink Policy
  • Only food and drink purchased on-site may be consumed, except for parties.
  • Outside food/drink is not permitted except for baby or medical needs.
  • We aim to cater to common allergies, but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
  • No food or drink is permitted in the play area.
  • The café closes 30 minutes before the end of the last session.
  1. Health, Safety & Hygiene
  • Please ensure children remove shoes before entering play areas and wear socks at all times.
  • No running, rough play, throwing or climbing in the café and play area.
  • Ill visitors may be refused entry for safety reasons. Please do not visit Mini City (Plymouth) with any contagious illness like chickenpox, Covid-19, diarrhoea etc.
  • Some props and toys may be unsuitable for small children (mainly under 3 years) due to small parts. Please ensure supervision of your child’s play.
  • Mini City (Plymouth) reserves the right to ask any child or adult to leave if their behaviour may pose a risk to others.
  • Our baby area is designed for children under 1 year. Children over this age are not permitted in this area.
  • Mini City (Plymouth) is an alcohol-free zone. Anyone consuming alcohol or under the influence of alcohol will be asked to leave.
  • Mini City (Plymouth) is a no-smoking area, including e-cigarettes and vapes.
  1. Parties & Private Hire
  • Parties at weekends; private hire weekday afternoons.
  • Damage may be charged to the booking holder.
  • Party deposits are required at the time of booking and they are non-refundable if you change your mind or cancel.
  1. Personal Belongings
  • Mini City (Plymouth) accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

  • Please keep valuables with you at all times.

  • Prams should be left in the designated pram area.

9. Photography & CCTV

  • You are welcome to take photos of your own children, but please avoid photographing other children without consent.

  • Mini City (Plymouth) operates CCTV in the café, play area, and outside toilets downstairs for safety and security.

  • CCTV footage is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws.

10. Liability

  • Mini City (Plymouth) accepts no liability for injuries sustained through misuse of equipment or failure to follow staff instructions.

  • All play equipment is designed for children under 7 years old. (Supervision required for small children, due to small parts).

  • Entry to the premises and participation in activities are at your own risk.

11. Right to Refuse Entry

  • We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any person from the premises for:

    • Unsafe or disruptive behaviour

    • Verbal or physical abuse toward staff or guests

    • Breach of these Terms and Conditions

12. Changes to Terms

  • Mini City (Plymouth) may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website or at reception.
